Bordeaux is the kind of woman who makes men forget their troubles—until they realize she is one. A longtime fixture in Silver City’s underground scene, she’s a high-end escort who operates on both sides of the city's darkness. She's beautiful, dangerous, and plays the game better than most.

Her past is largely unknown, but whispers suggest she came from a broken home, surviving the streets from a young age. Unlike other women in her line of work, Bordeaux chooses her clients carefully, using her beauty and intelligence to manipulate powerful men. Beneath her confident, seductive exterior, though, is a woman who’s seen too much—and knows too much.

She and Mike Walker have a complicated history. They’ve been lovers, enemies, and everything in between. She’s one of the few people in Silver City who genuinely cares about him, though she’d never admit it. Bordeaux is not the type to beg or cry—she’s a fighter. But even fighters have their limits.

Bordeaux starts off as a minor character, a figure from Mike’s past who gives him some information on the Black Parable club. But as the story unfolds, she becomes a tragic centerpiece in the horrors surrounding the Black Doors.

She’s caught in the crossfire between Mike’s investigation and Sabrina’s growing influence. When she tries to walk away from it all, she’s taken—a pawn in a much larger game. What happens to her inside the Black Doors is one of the most horrifying moments in the novel.

Her fate is one of the most brutal in Black Doors. She is taken to the Black Doors, where she is subjected to an unrelenting nightmare of abuse by demonic entities. Time doesn’t work the same way inside the Doors—she endures what feels like centuries of torment in what is only days in the real world.

When Mike finds her, she is barely human—physically broken, mentally shattered. The once-powerful, seductive Bordeaux is now a shell of herself, used and discarded by the forces beyond the Black Doors.

Does she survive? That depends on Mike. If he can save her, she might recover—though she’ll never be the same. If he fails, she will remain trapped in the Black Doors, another lost soul claimed by the darkness.
